fun with digital in the dark

Last night, I started playing around with my point and shoot.  The orangey yellow color of the light from the street lamp against the blue of the sky is what caught my eye at first.  And those shots didn't even make the final cut... Here's what I ended up with:

(A couple are a little soft... I did them all handheld.  A few were 8 second exposures...)

Just have to say something about this one. "Starbursts" are totally cheesy, and I wasn't trying for them, BUT, I kinda like the way they cris-cross with the power lines here...
