Macro Delphinium

I just bought these Delphiniums the other day, and I took them home and promptly started shooting some macros!  The color in these are totally natural- from the sunset and just-past sunset light.  The flowers themselves are pretty pale blues and purples...
Still in the process of editing down, some of these are so similar to each other, but I can't decide...

I shot some film!

I shot some fuji slide film which I intend to cross-process, but I haven't gotten it developed yet...
BUT, I made a couple pictures with my little point and shoot at the same time...

I don't think I ended up using either of these in the final project for the class, but looking at them now, I think I really like them...

my blog is one year old!

I just realized that I started this blog exactly one year ago today, so I figured I should post something in honor of it.  Since I haven't shot anything new that I like enough to share, here are some old images from when I was shooting for my final color portfolio... I kinda like them... I think they're inspiring me a little bit...
