Music Midtown Day 1
I was a little nervous to bring my new camera to Day 1, so I only have instagrams. (was a little ERGH later when I saw all the pro cameras around when the tickets CLEARLY said they wouldn't be allowed.)

ah, the first macros of spring
I didn't think I'd want to do any more macro flower photos, but I shot some today. The daffodils in our back yard started blooming yesterday. And I suppose since I started my macro stuff last summer, I didn't get a chance to photograph any of the spring flowers. So maybe I'll shoot a little more until I come to the flowers I've already macro-ed...
This batch is the first edit of what I shot. The more I look at them, the more I'll probably edit out. A few are pretty similar... but for now, these are my favorites.
Happy First Day of Spring!
Happy First Day of Spring!
PS: no heavy Photoshop here, just some minor levels and color adjustments... (the only exception is the last image, which was pretty underexposed, so I played a bit with it. I kinda like how it came out)

stick figure portrait
Last night I painted a teeny portrait of my nieces. Stick figure style.
The teeny canvas is 3x3 inches. The orange is for scale. :)
I dig these little canvases. I might go grab some more...
